First published in hardback in 2021, EXTERMINART! presented a curated collection of Skilleter’s Dalek artwork produced between 1979 and 2020. This 2025 paperback edition includes new artwork, rare sketches, and intimate commentary, offering fans the most complete collection of Skilleter’s Dalek illustrations to date. The book also includes a foreword by Dalek author John Peel.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Andrew Skilleter’s professional Doctor Who Art dominated the 1980s and continued into the 1990s. It included over 40 covers for the the legendary Target Books novelisations, the classic Who Dares Poster prints and official Doctor Who calendars, the legendary Cybermen book, numerous BBC VHS covers, and the Virgin New Adventures covers, culminating in Blacklight, Virgin Books 1995, celebrating 15 years of his Doctor Who art. Outside of Who, Andrew has produced hundreds of covers for adult, teenage and children’s books across numerous genres. His work has also encompassed the illustration of many books, magazines, CDs, Audio,TV and a long creative partnership with the BBC – Video, Audio, and Exhibitions.
More recently, a range of his Doctor Who original art has been exhibted in the Adventures in Time and Space – 60 Years of Doctor Who Art at the Weston Museum Gallery and at the Museum of Somerset. There have been four more books of his art, the Illuminart trilogy and the latest published late in 2025, Evoloution ~Doctor Who Art A New Dimension.
